TEAM TREAL

Tyler Slane- US Team Manager
Delaware, OH

I have been in the RC hobby since 2018, starting in 1/10 and 1/8 scale off-road racing. As I continued into the hobby I have been concentrating on trail crawling, scale building and some comp events. I enjoy competing in regional and National RC events featuring some of the best drivers in the country.

When I am not relaxing on the trails, I operate a commercial construction company in central Ohio. In my spare time I enjoy family activities with my wife and two daughters. I also enjoy full size 1:1 off-roading in my built military Humvee.

Jeremy Kilburn- Technical Consultant
Havre de Grace, MD

In the RC hobby for over 34 years now. Started with a grasshopper and never looked back! I’ve been crawling with RCs since the late 90’s with home builds and witnessed it all come around to today’s market. I prefer long trail runs with or without a group and known to walk 10-12 miles on a single outing. Hanging out with friends and new people is also a favorite to chat and discuss rigs, parts and innovations.
Team driver for Castle Creations, Reefs RC, PowerHobby, CowRC, ERC and run the On the Rocks Maryland FB page. KilburnJeremy on Instagram.

I officially got started in the hobby around 2003-2004 and it was all down hill from there haha!
Started with offroad racing then to crawling/u4 racing/ scale trailing and drag racing.
If there is an opportunity to drive, better believe ill be there!
I am the co-owner/co-founder of 1 of Oregon's largest Rc clubs, we like to organize group crawls, rc races, charity events and so on.
I enjoy all aspects of the hobby and seeing it grow!

Jeremy Burris- Team Driver
Kenton OH

Been in the hobby for 19 years. Mostly into crawling of all sizes, bashing and drifting but have tried many different parts of the rc hobby like boats, dirt oval racing, drones, airplanes, even bikes. Love building rc's and experimenting with different parts of the hobby. If I'm not at local events, I'm either crawling all over ohio on the weekends or building for the next event.

Byron Clinton- Team Driver
Rohnert Park, CA

My start into this awesome hobby began with a trip to our local off road track 6 years ago. While I was there checking things out I ended up driving all of my buddies race vehicles and was immediately hooked. I then went to my local hobby shop the next week to buy my first race vehicle the SCT. About a year after that I bought my first crawler the SCX 10i and started attending crawling events such as the ASD Crawl in 2016 and finally the Crawl for a Cure event in 2019 that raises money for Autism and Cancer awareness. I finally attended my first Axialfest in 2018 which was off the hook and after this event I knew right then and there that crawling was my passion because I was absolutely hooked on the crawling aspect of this hobby. What I love about this hobby is getting out and going crawling with a group of guys to have a good time and relax. I have not only truly enjoyed this hobby for the crawling aspect, but also for the fact that over the last 5 years of crawling I have met some new and great people to form new relationships with.

MJ Cummings- Team Driver
Manassas Park, VA

My time in this great hobby, RC Crawling, began about three months before the TRX-4 Sport debuted.  Since then, the bug to find the best upgrades, drivers, and personalities to associate with began.  Over six years later, my path has yet meandered into another segment of crawling- scale performance.  Yes I have built comp rigs, placed in the top 15 in Class 2 at SuperShafty Fall Crawl, and won numerous local events. Those events helped seal Treal into my builds, as they didn’t fail. My trucks were named for shenanigans.  For me, the comp scene got a bit boring.  My builds focused on reliability for Camel Trophy and Recon G6 style events.  My Axial SCX10.3 D110 Camel Trophy Rig, Traxxas TRX6 Tow Rig, and purpose built Sorcca Class 1 rigs have proved both performance and reliability can be intertwined.  Treal plays an integral part in the perfection of my rigs.  Send me a message on FB @WreckerRC on IG at @WreckerRC2 or YT at @WreckerRC for guidance on your build. I am available on the Treal Fan Page as well. Happy building drivers!.

David Dyson- Team Driver
Indio, CA

I got into the RC hobby in 2020 during Covid, started off with a Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL Fox Body. After several upgrades, I decided I wanted to try out a RC Crawler, so I bought a Losi NightCrawler SE and I was just amazed as to how much more interesting and technical the aspect of RC crawling was. Since then I have stuck to RC Crawling and owned multiple crawlers from a SCX10ii builders kit, SCX10iii Jeep JLU, SCX10iii BaseCamp, ElementRC Trailwalker, ElementRC Gatekeeper, ElementRC Knightrunner, IERC Merge V2 Carbon Fiber Build to a IERC Merge X Evo Silver Carbon Fiber Portal Axle Build. I’ve been to Proline By The Fire 2022 & 2023, I also go to local event such as Crawlers n Coffee and just and evening nighttime Crawling session with the fellas. I’m an easy going person so if you see me out there don’t hesitate to come say hi.

Mike George- Team Driver
Quakertown, PA

East Coast Boy born and raised Army Veteran 46 years old married with 2 kids 13 yr girl & 12 yr old son who is on the ASD Spectrum. I’m what they an ASD warrior as a hardcore advocate, for Autism. I promote awareness through my passion and enthusiasm for the RC Hobby, with tribute or theme style rigs to help spread the word. My motto is “Go fast to crawl I do it all” this sums it up but lately I’ve been laser focused on more scale builds including my scale garage. I’ve recently discovered a new level of excitement for RC with the addition of my own PLA /ABS and SLA resin 3d printers. I’m learning how to do some CAD but I enjoy using the STL files already available for example the Knights Customs stuff from My Mini Factory is my go to favorites. The builds are my passion and the RC community is my savior. I started out using social media to share my builds and it ended up doing so much more. Social Media can have its ups and downs with all the politics and negativity. One mega positive is the conduit that it makes between other like minded people. Being able to share tips and tricks, and witness all the talent and skills coming from within the RC community is a huge reason I use and support these platforms. As a brand ambassador or influencer, it gives me great pride when I use these outlets as a weapon for change and promoting positivity. When I post about a product, it’s done with the intention of showing others what works for me, and maybe it will work for someone else. I build rigs for fun to have fun, my builds reflect me and my personality. The parts I choose are performance based but I’m not building for competitions. I enjoy attending events more focused on the trails instead of the timed gates, Recon G6 style events is where I’m happy.  With my desire for the trails  I recently stepped outside my comfort zone, and started a new company called CarryAllRC. We retrofit a backpack capable of carrying an extra rig. This is the first RTR backpack built for the RC enthusiast by an RC enthusiast.

Jeff Ramos- Team Driver
Rohnert Park, CA

I have been in the hobby off and on since I was 11. The last nine years I have made it a large part of my life.  I’ve had the opportunity to meet some amazing people. RC cars, crawling and flying drones gives me an opportunity to focus and enjoy being outside. I am an extremely proud parent to three amazing boys. Being a parent to a child on the spectrum teaches you so many things but the best of all is un conditional love, support and of course different is not less.

Tim Rockstroh- Team Driver
Bettendorf, IA

Hi my name is Tim Rockstroh from Davenport Iowa. My love for rc began when I was 8 yrs old when my dad bought me my first hobby grade rc which was a Kyosho Ultima. Since then I have dabbled in a little bit of everything the hobby has to offer. I have raced nitro touring cars, electric and nitro off road buggies, and drag races. I got into crawling back in 2014 and have loved it ever since. My main focus is scale truck building and trailing. I  usually travel to a handful of events throughout the year from USTE in Florida to Beat the Creek  in Kentucky and the Great Lakes Guantlet in Michigan to who knows where next. I’m down for a road trip to play with tiny trucks and meet awesome new people!

Ed Wenger- Team Driver
Williamstown, PA

My journey into the world of R/C crawling began in 2018 with what I thought was just a Christmas gift—a used crawler for my 8-year-old son. Three days later, I found myself buying one for myself, and from that moment on, I was hooked. R/C crawling quickly became more than just a hobby for me; it became a family passion. Even my wife has gotten involved, making it something we all enjoy together.

The R/C community has given me so much more than I ever expected. I’ve made friendships and memories that will last a lifetime, and I've been able to share this incredible hobby with my son. It’s also provided me with a unique opportunity to teach him valuable life lessons—like the importance of respect, determination, and responsibility. One of my proudest moments was watching him compete at a national level event, where he did better than I could have ever imagined.

Looking ahead, my goal is to continue competing alongside my son. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of competition and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it. But more importantly, it’s about the time we spend together, pushing each other to get better, and enjoying every moment on the comp course.
